The kids have all grown up and the client wanted to replace their small cabin just outside of Minneapolis, with one the whole family can use. The zero-step entry, larger bathrooms and one level living maximize aging in place but also visitability by friends and family. Construction began in fall 2019.
Typical of this series, this cabin has beautiful exposed structure of ceiling rafters and timber beams in the open areas. One of numerous cabin types designed for a development in the Bayfield Wisconsin area.
Another cabin of the Bayfield series. Small footprint and dynamic full height screen porch.
This story and a half cabin takes full advantage of all habitable space. Charming interior and full height screen porch extending to the roof line.
Designed to be adjacent to a main cabin. Featuring a one room area for living and sleeping. It includes a sink in the open area and an enclosed toilet shower room.
Designed for a narrow lot with kitchen, dining and living on one level. A version of this was built with a master suite on the main level with guest rooms, an open area and an office above.
