The clients had recently purchased this property nestled in the eastern shore of Ward Lake, WI. They desired to update the appearance and revise interior spaces.
The kitchen was reconfigured with new cabinets, appliances, and countertops. The stair to the basement was realigned for better traffic flow. A loft was added with bunk beds and play space for kids.

Originally designed by Elizabeth & Winston Close Architects, the owners of this stunning Mid-Century home required additional living space to accommodate their evolving interests and tastes. The clients requested a thoughtful addition to their current interior space and underscored the importance of preserving the 1960-era style that held so near and dear to their hearts
The addition includes a new Master bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom, a full walk-in closet and new office. High windows & a new patio were also incorporated into the tasteful redesign of this lovely home to honor the client's privacy concerns.
A unique rendition of a classic Scandinavian home was proposed to the client to ensure their home reflected their taste and intrigue in Scandinavian design. Traditional colors, coupled with classical Scandinavian design features, were mindfully thought out to ensure that this home honored its inspiration down to the very last detail.
