We are excited to announce that Steven Mooney, owner and primary architect, completed the three-day CAPS I, II & III training offered by the National Association of Home Builders and earned a certification- as an "Aging-in-Place" specialist - for his mastery of the content.

In addition to earning a certificate as "Aging-in-Place" specialist, Steven Mooney also completed the two-day training program offered by the Living-in Place Institute, earning him yet another certification as a " Living in Place" professional.
LIVING SMALL - BLEND AWARD SUBMISSION
Architects around the country were challenged to transform an old home into a modern, open retirement home without adding a single square foot. The blend achievement stems from keeping most of the existing shell while opening the home's floor plan inside and connecting the home to the outdoors, Loon Architects accomplished this incredible feat by adding daylight with full-height windows as a mean to reunite the home with nature and the natural landscape that framed the plot. The accompanying integrated landscaping made it possible to add a no-step entry platform to align with Loon Architect's overall strategy and specialty revolving around "Living-in-Place" design.
